Entry Criteria

The following requirements must be met by to complete your officially entry in the 2014 DRTE 100k ultra-marathon:

Qualification

Entrant must be 18 years of age or older on Friday, May 30, 2014.

Requirements

  • Agree to the terms and conditions of the Waiver, Release and Entrant Agreement
  • $25.00 charity contribution*
  • Show a photo ID at check-in (driver’s license, passport etc.)
  • Complete pre-run body weight, blood pressure and temperature exam at check-in

*Charity contributions are tax deductible and can be paid by personal check or online payment by the cutoff date of midnight Monday, May 12, 2014.

$10 fate fee will be applied to any entrant who payment is post marked / paid after the cutoff date. Entrant check-in will not commensurate until charity contribution has been paid in full. No Exceptions!


Charity Contribution (optional)


In lieu of paying the charity contribution, entrant can elect to complete 8 hours of supervised/crewed trail work. At this time, we require the trail work off-set to be done on trails within the Santa Barbaric District of the Los Padres national Forest. Please see the Trail Work page for details.

*100% of the charity contribution is tax deductible. Funds will be distributed between Santa Barbara amateur Radio Operators (HAM), Santa Barbara Mountain Bike Trail Volunteers, Condor Trail, Los Padres Forest Association, and one Los Padres National Forest SB Ranger district approved trail project supervised by Los Padres Volunteer Wilderness Ranger, Robert Gilcrest.

Endurancesmith Foundation is an affiliate of Santa Barbara Charity Corps, a registered CA corporation and 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization

DRTE 100 Legacy Entrants

DRTE 100 Legacy Entrant pledges to raise a minimum of $500.00 in charitable donations through an online charity page hosted and managed by Endurancesmith Inc.. 100% of the donation will go to the Cottage Children’s Hospital, a not for profit pediatric medical center.

The 2014 DRTE 100 Legacy Entrant campaign starts January 1, 2014 and closes midnight, Sunday May 25, 2014.

In exchange for this commitment, the DRTE 100 Legacy Entrant will receive one free Economy entry. All standard entrant qualifications and requirements still apply.

The Legacy Entrant program is underwritten and operated by Endurancesmith Inc., allowing 100% of all Legacy Entrant pledges raised to be passed on to the charity organization.


DRTE 100k Refunds or Transfers


The DRTE 100k entry fee refund or transfer insurance policy allows you a 100% refund of your paid entry fee, including processing fees if you are unable to participate due to an accident, injury, illness, or unexpected travel delay.

DRTE 100k entry fee refund insurance policy is $35.00 and must be purchased concurrently when registering.

DRTE 100 Fee Processing Agreements


The essence of the online registration fee processing agreement is A. To inform you the registrant/consumer that a debit will made and appear in the account associated with the credit card or checking account information used to complete this registration. The debit will appear in name of Bluesnap or Plimus Sales acting on behalf of Race Corps to process your DRTE 100 registration fee. B. What the requirements are for filing a dispute or complaint.
